Bluee Pal Toy Review

I started using a great new toy, a Bluebee Pal, in sessions and wanted to share. This is NOT an ad, just a toy I really have enjoyed, especially with my AAC and early language clients.

Bluebee Pals are plush animals that connect to your iPad via Bluetooth. There are several different animals to choose from. I went with Parker the Monkey, because monkeys rule, obviously.

Once you connect to your device, Bluebee’s will act as a Bluetooth speaker for your device. For example, if you open Proloquo2go and program a question, Bluebee will ask the question. The animal’s mouth even moves with the audio. Here’s a video to check out to see learn more.

You can use it to read books, to play music, and to interact with educational apps.

I’ve been using Bluebee with Proloquo2go and other AAC apps with great success. I have one client in particular who has LOVED interacting with our Parker Bluebee. Instead of me asking the WH questions, I’m using my device to talk to the child. I’m modeling and Parker is talking. It’s been a hit!

AND Bluebee also puts out it’s own app. Within the app you have access to a mini library, educational games, and other resources.

It’s been a super fun toy.

Cheers, hope y’all like it as much as I do!
